Egypt's Ministry of Culture has soft launched a new version of its website, www.moc.gov.eg, as part of efforts to modernise its digital infrastructure, offer accessible cultural services, and strengthen public engagement. The platform is designed to serve as a comprehensive gateway to the ministry's various sectors and affiliated bodies. It features a cultural and artistic events calendar, digital applications, interactive services, and access to official data and archival content. The website also aims to provide a modern cultural experience that is easy to navigate and publicly accessible. According to a ministry's statement, the trial version will continue in the coming period to collect feedback from users and improve performance ahead of the official launch of the full version. Minister of Culture Ahmed Fouad Hennou said the launch marks a step forward in the ministry's digital transformation strategy, providing updated and efficient cultural services. He added that the platform will help document cultural activities and foster broader citizen participation in cultural life, in line with Egypt's pursuit of cultural justice and its Sustainable Development Goals under Vision 2030.
