ATCO Pharma in Quesna's second industrial zone: Built on 12,500 square metres with EGP1 billion in investments, producing human and veterinary medicines and dietary supplements. It employs around 1,000 people and exports to more than 10 countries. Piel Colour Leather Tannery is a $200 million facility spanning 63,000 square metres, with over 90 per cent of its production exported to markets including China, the US, and Saudi Arabia. It has an annual output of 40 million square feet of leather, 3,000 tons of gelatin, and 3,000 tons of amino acids. Bavaria Egypt is a fire-fighting equipment factory in Cairo's Gesr El Suez area, spanning 4,574 square metres and employing 500 people.
