Egypt and China signed a memorandum of understanding on Thursday aimed at strengthening cooperation in e-commerce, the Egyptian Cabinet said in a statement. The agreement was signed during a ceremony attended by Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly and Chinese Premier Li Qiang, on the sidelines of high-level talks in Cairo. The MoU, between Egypt's Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade and China's Ministry of Commerce, seeks to promote digital trade, enhance regulatory cooperation, and support knowledge exchange to accelerate e-commerce development between the two countries.
