His remarks came during a bilateral meeting with Claver Gatete, UN Under-Secretary-General of the Economic Commission for Africa, held on the sidelines of the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development in Seville, Spain. He underlined the importance of aligning development programmes with national reform agendas to maximise impact, noting that development plans must reflect each country's economic and social priorities. Kouchouk emphasised Egypt's commitment to strengthening partnerships with the United Nations to promote financial stability, equitable growth in Africa, and sustainable development on the continent.
