Egypt's FinMin, WFP CFO discuss financing for food security

Egypt's Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk held a bilateral meeting with Robert van der Zee, chief financial officer of the World Food Programme (WFP), on the sidelines of the 4th United Nations Conference on Financing for Development.
Kouchouk reaffirmed Egypt's commitment to strengthening international partnerships to advance food security and sustainable development. He stressed the importance of diversifying sources of concessional financing and boosting collaboration with global partners to tackle shared challenges.
He also expressed Egypt's aspiration to play a greater role in supporting human development and promoting innovative financing solutions in developing nations, in a way that supports national efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
