Egypt Healthcare Authority (EHA) signed three new memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with leading medical and academic institutions on the sidelines of the Africa Health Excon 2025, as per a Cabinet statement. EHA signed an MoU with Deraya University to provide medical training for students and interns at its healthcare facilities, in line with each facility's capacity and without disrupting operations. The agreement ensures that students will not perform any direct medical procedures during their training. A second agreement was signed with the Egyptian Non-Communicable Diseases Society to enhance medical teams' capabilities in managing heart disease and promoting public awareness about early detection and prevention. As part of its cooperation with the private sector, EHA also signed an MoU with Viatris Egypt and North Africa aimed at facilitating the exchange of scientific and technical knowledge through regular workshops and training sessions to build staff capacity. These partnerships form part of the authority's broader strategy to promote continuous medical education and integrate academic study with practical training in a modern, accredited healthcare system.
