Egypt Healthcare Authority (EHA) signed a cooperation protocol with the Medical Services Company, a subsidiary of the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC), to enhance access to quality healthcare for electricity sector employees. The agreement aligns with national efforts to optimise healthcare resources and promote integration across different sectors, a statement published by the Cabinet revealed on Wednesday. Under the protocol, EHA will provide medical services to employees of the EEHC and its subsidiaries through its healthcare facilities located in the governorates covered by the Universal Health Insurance (UHI) system. The cooperation will extend to providing treatment either through EHA facilities or through medical outlets affiliated with the Electricity Holding Company, following technical accreditation and compliance procedures. The protocol also includes establishing a joint coordination committee to ensure effective implementation and regular monitoring, according to the statement.
