Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Tuesday congratulated Sanae Takaichi on her election as Japan's first female prime minister, saying he looks forward to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations. In a statement issued on Tuesday evening, Sisi said he was keen to work closely with Takaichi to "invigorate and further develop the strategic partnership between our two countries, enhance areas of joint cooperation across various fields," He added that Egypt and Japan would continue "constructive coordination on regional and international issues in ways that promote peace, stability, and prosperity for both nations and the wider international community.
