Egypt's Ministry of Planning and Economic Development on Sunday signed a cooperation protocol with the Federation of Egyptian Banks (FEB) to expand access to international development partner services through the Ministry's Hafez platform. The agreement seeks to help local banks and their private-sector clients benefit more effectively from concessional finance, technical assistance, and blended funding made available by development partners. Launched by the Ministry, the Hafez platform is designed to centralise and streamline access to development cooperation tools, enhancing transparency and alignment with national priorities. The move supports Egypt's broader efforts to mobilise sustainable finance and strengthen the role of the private sector in driving economic growth. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English Subediting: M.
