Egypt's stock market (EGX) continued its steep decline during mid-session trading on Sunday. The benchmark EGX30 index dropped by 5 per cent to 30,886.23 points as of 1:24 pm CLT. The Shariah index, EGX33, fell by 4.63 per cent to 3,213.96 points. the SMEs index, EGX70, declined by 5.37 per cent to 9,089.83 points. EGX100 slipped by 5.26 per cent to 12,382.16 points. Total market cap stood at 2,193,047,802,466 Egyptian pounds. Egyptian and non-Arab investors were net sellers, recording net sales of 920,690 and 86.39 million Egyptian pounds, respectively.
