Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly on Sunday inspected the integrated technological centre, during his visit to Beheira governorate, according to a statement published by the Cabinet. The centre, developed under the Decent Life programme, aims to enhance public service access and operational efficiency in rural communities. Jacqueline Azer, Beheira governor, said the centre represents a significant leap in modernising rural public services and reflects Egypt's broader efforts to build the New Republic, placing citizens at the forefront of national priorities. She noted that the centre facilitates high-quality and efficient public services close to residents' homes, eliminating the need to travel to urban areas. It operates on a 600-square-metre plot with three floors equipped with the latest digital infrastructure. Azer noted that the centre also focuses on improving staff performance through regular training on digital systems and applications. Additionally, efforts are underway to enhance telecom infrastructure in Zawyet Saqr to support expanded digital services as part of broader rural development efforts under Decent Life.
