Egypt's Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar met with CEO of the Future of Egypt Bahaa El-Ghannam to explore ways of cooperation in the field of medical tourism and developing its tools, with the possibility of benefiting from the experiences of successful countries in this regard, as per a Cabinet statement. The meeting tackled expansion of health investment opportunities in line with international standards. Both parties agreed on the need to implement advanced frameworks to enhance service quality in healthcare facilities. The discussions also included proposals to enhance collaboration with international institutions to support Egypt's healthcare sector, including prospects for joint management and operation of some health facilities to improve governance.
