Asia-Pacific markets mostly rose on Wednesday as investors evaluated US-China trade talks, following gains in key Wall Street benchmarks amid reduced trade tensions between the two economic superpowers. Japan's Nikkei 225 fell 0.14 per cent to close at 38,128.13, ending a four-day winning streak. South Korea's Kospi gained 1.23 per cent to close at 2,640.57. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 index increased by 0.13 per cent to end the day at 8,279.6.
