Egypt has welcomed the success of Omani efforts, in coordination with the United States, which resulted in a ceasefire agreement between the United States and Yemen. Egypt expressed hope that the agreement would have a positive impact on freedom of navigation in the Red Sea. In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt voiced its aspiration that the coming period would witness full commitment to the agreement, providing a constructive push towards ending the Israeli war on Gaza and supporting efforts to achieve security and stability in the region.
