Egypt's M.O.T Investment and Development company reported total revenues of EGP1.690 billion, reflecting an increase of EGP275 million compared to EGP1.415 billion in 2023, as per a Cabinet statement on Tuesday. In a meeting led by Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel El-Wazir, the general assembly of M.O.T company discussed achievements in 2024, such as the opening of the Upper Egypt Railway Station in Bashtil, Giza. The meeting also reviewed the progress of investment projects like the Tahya Misr Mansoura project in Mansoura City, the Diamond Tower project, and other nationwide investments, according to the statement. Additionally, the minister and assembly members reviewed the outcomes of partnerships with entities such as the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, the National Authority for Tunnels (NAT), and the Red Sea Ports Authority. El-Wazir emphasised the need to maximise investment in lands owned by the ministry and enhance collaboration with the private sector to boost private sector participation in project implementation, aligning with state initiatives.
