Egyptian pound closes high vs. US dollar – CBE

The Egyptian pound (EGP) saw a rise against the US dollar (USD) on Monday, May 5, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE reported an average buying rate of EGP 50.6300 per dollar and a selling rate of EGP 50.7300, compared to Sunday's rates of EGP 50.6677 and EGP 50.7677, respectively.
