The discussions focused on regional developments, particularly the third round of negotiations between the United States and Iran over the Iranian nuclear file, which took place on Saturday in the Omani capital, Muscat. Minister Abdel-Aty was briefed on the latest developments in the talks between the two sides. The Egyptian Foreign Minister reiterated Egypt's full support for all initiatives aimed at reaching political solutions through dialogue and negotiation, which would enhance the prospects for achieving security and stability in the region. He expressed hope that the negotiations would lead to a balanced political settlement that contributes to de-escalation and easing tensions, marking the beginning of a new phase that would help restore regional stability.
