Egypt's FinMin pledges new tax era to taxpayers

Egypt's Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk emphasised the ministry's new pledge to the tax community: "Trust, Partnership, and Support" for all taxpayers, old and new, ensuring certainty, as per an official statement on Monday.
Kouchouk stated on his LinkedIn page: "We are observing with great appreciation the positive and fruitful movement within the business community with the implementation of the first package of tax facilitation measures."
He added that strong support and exceptional backing from the political leadership encourage the continuation of this progressive path of tax reform, as part of the state's efforts to stimulate investment.
