Egypt's Mobile Subscribers Become 347.000 & Vodafone Ranks First

An Official report of Information and Communication Technology Ministry (MCIT) has revealed that the number of mobile phone users reached around 347.000 subscribers by the end of last May.
The indexes of MCIT emphasized that the number of Vodafone subscribers have boosted to 45.000 subscribers compared to April 2013, in order to capture 40.9% from mobile phone market ranking first as the most operator seizing subscribers numbers.
The indexes asserted that the number of Mobinil subscribers increased to 6.000 subscribers with May to make the total subscribers reach 33 million subscribers ranking second in mobile market with market share up around 34.9% from the total market in Egypt within the third month of this July.
The subscribers of Etisalat Egypt have become about 71.000 within the same month to rank thirdly in the Egyptian market with 24.2% from the total market, the report said the number of mobile phone subscribers via Etisalat network reached around 22.87 million.
