Egypt's Minister of Planning and Economic Development Rania Al Mashat announced that the country will benefit from 26 projects under the first phase of the INTERREG NEXT MED cross-border cooperation programme, the Egyptian Cabinet reported on Monday. The initiative, which includes 60 projects across Mediterranean countries, has a total budget of €134 million, with €119 million financed by the European Union (EU).
