Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen have emphasised the need for the full implementation of the three-phase Gaza ceasefire agreement, including the exchange of hostages and detainees and the facilitation of humanitarian aid to address the catastrophic situation in the Gaza Strip. During a phone call from Frederiksen on Tuesday morning, the two leaders stressed the importance of commencing Gaza's reconstruction to ensure its viability, without the displacement of its Palestinian residents, while safeguarding their rights and resources. They also reaffirmed the necessity of establishing a Palestinian state along the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, as the sole guarantee for achieving lasting peace, stability, and economic prosperity.
