NTRA launches eSIM in Egypt

The National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) has launched eSIM technology in the Egyptian market after all four mobile operators completed the necessary technical tests. This innovation aims to enhance user experience and support Egypt's digital transformation efforts.
The new eSIM technology allows users to switch between mobile operators without changing physical SIM cards, offering improved security and convenience. It also enables users to easily activate new numbers or transfer existing ones without service interruptions.
