The Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC) signed a MoU with the Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Corporation (KIND) to boost Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects in ICIEC member states and South Korea. The MoU outlines a commitment from both parties to work together on a variety of PPP projects, with a specific focus on: Critical infrastructure development: This includes projects related to transport, energy, and water. Clean energy technologies: Focus will be on promoting renewable energy sources and related technologies. Renewable energy generation: This collaboration aims to increase sustainable energy production in ICIEC member states. Urban development initiatives: The MoU also emphasises collaboration on projects that improve urban infrastructure and services.
