Mongolia announced plans to construct a total of 2,100 kilometres of new roads in 2025, as reported by local media citing the country's Ministry of Finance. The Ministry's Department of Development Financing and Investment outlined the road development projects, including the continuation of work on the Khavirga and Ulikhan port roads. Additionally, new road construction is planned for Shiveehuren, Bichigt, and Artssuuri ports. Furthermore, the government aims to develop new roads to improve connectivity between provinces and support tourism in high-traffic areas. Mongolia's "New Revival Policy" aims to achieve economic independence through port revival by upgrading existing roads and building new ones to improve connectivity between ports and provinces.
