Exclusive: List Of 10 Biggest Companies Export Chemicals & Fertilizers

In the first quarter of 2013, the exports of the Chemical and Fertilizers Export Council declined 10% in comparison with EGP 2.932 million approximately during the same quarter of 2012.
The latest report issued by the council mentioned that Alexandria Carbon Black Company comes first in the list of the biggest 10 companies in export during the first quarter of 2013 at value of EGP 527.350 million (17.98%), followed by Egyptian Methanex Methanol Company S.A.E. (EMethanex) at value of EGP 426.160 million (14.53) and then Procter & Gamble Egypt (P&G) at EGP 342.294 million total exports.
As to the fourth rank, it acquired by Abu Qir Fertilizers Co. at total value of EGP 319.792 million (10.90%), followed by AlexFert at EGP 316.701 million exports, and Egyptian Propylene & Polypropylene Company at EGP 279.826 million, the Egyptian Linear Alkyl Benzene (ELAB) at EGP 203.382 million, Alexandria tire co. – Pirelli at EGP 175.43 million total exports, Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Company (SKPC) at EGP 174.496 million, and finally Misr Oil Processing Co. at EGP 167.505 million.
