Powerful Israel prioritised over humanitarian values
Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 10 - 08 - 2024

I can't find the words to express how horrifying the episode was, when Israeli occupiers attacked the "Al-Tabi'in" school at dawn on Saturday, the 309th day of the savage Zionist occupation's onslaught against the Gaza Strip.
A horrific slaughter was carried out at a school in central Gaza that housed hundreds of unarmed refugees fleeing the aggression.
As the dawn prayer call went out, worshipers went to the first level of the school building to pray. According to eyewitnesses and media reports, the building was destroyed with three missiles, each weighing two pounds, just as the prayer began. They used six pounds of explosives to demolish the building, according to the Gaza Civil Defense spokesperson, who said that the second floor of the building housed women, children, and the elderly.
All of the people in this building had lost their homes, been displaced, and had their loved ones slaughtered. They sought sanctuary in this robust building, spreading out on the ground and stairs, seeking for a place to reside.
As of this writing, the number of martyrs has surpassed 100, with many more gravely injured. According to news reports, medical professionals and aid workers were in a state of fear as a result of the horrible spectacle. The martyrs' bodies were thrown in pieces—an arm here, a limb there, human fragments littering the ground and bundled into blankets without recognising their owners.
Immediately following the bombing, the Zionist occupiers accepted responsibility for the massacre, admitting that the Israeli Air Force had accurately hit the "Al-Tabi'in" school, claiming that Hamas elements were inside the school building, planning and carrying out attacks against the criminal occupation forces.
This incident is simply one of many in over 310 days of horrific violence against innocent residents in Palestine's occupied areas. The continual and unrelenting destruction of infrastructure, structures, and assets has resulted in the deaths and disappearances of tens of thousands of people, as well as an equivalent number of injuries.
Human massacres, ethnic cleansing, and compelled displacement are taking place in the most heinous ways, while the entire globe is unable to halt the Zionist enemy's insanity.
The only lesson we can take from this war, in my opinion, is that safeguarding the interests of "International Zionism" in the Middle East will not be deterred by any power on the planet. These interests are far more important than the elimination or forcible displacement of a people. Global protests, international court decisions, and negotiations to end the violence caused by massacres were fruitless.
Large sums of money are being spent just to defend the interests of the occupying power. Keeping Israel strong is the most important assurance for defending these interests.
These objectives extend beyond humanity and the deceptive ideals that Zionism has inundated the globe with through its media machinery, such as democracy, peace, and freedom.
The Middle East is the prime aim for worldwide Zionism, a region rich in natural treasures that the Zionist gangs would not abandon despite moral or material losses.
Anyone who believes that (Netanyahu) is behaving only out of personal stubbornness or crime is erroneous or uninformed, in my opinion.
(Netanyahu) is the man of the moment for worldwide Zionism, a professional butcher who performs the necessary killings and displacements without blinking an eye, according to the Zionist timeline, in the present chapter of the conquest of the region's territories and resources. We can only express our sincere sympathies; may God bless the martyrs of Gaza and provide them a better position in His vast paradise.
