The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered 60 billion Egyptian pounds in treasury bills (T-bills) on Monday, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance. The auction shall be in two tranches: 40 billion pounds for 91-day to be maturated on 29/10/2024, and 20 billion pounds for 273-day to be maturated on 29/04/2025, as per the statement. It's worth noting that the central bank offered 55 billion pounds worth of treasury bills yesterday.
