Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly has on Tuesday urged for a critical review of Africa's economic empowerment. "Africa's identity as a mere supplier of raw materials persists, but it's time for a paradigm shift. In light of global challenges, we must reassess this outdated model." Madbouly said at the African Development Bank's (AfDB) Annual Meetings taking place in Sharm El-Sheikh. The continent needs more than $3 trillion to mitigate the negative impact of climate changes and around $100 billion for infrastructure, he added.
