ACWA Power, the leading company in power and water desalination ,have donated 5 million Egyptian pounds to TahyaMisr Fund to support the State's efforts to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). TahyaMisr fund announced that ACWA Power donation will be directed to buy ventilators and RT-PCR detection kits to increase the testing capacity for COVID-19 across Egypt. ACWA Power's contribution represents its firm commitment to its social responsibility towards Egyptian communities, as well as its firm belief in the significant role played by international companies and the business community in supporting Egypt in eliminatingand curb the spread of COVID-19. The Egyptian government has been showing profound efforts under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisito contain COVID-19 and ACWA Power donation is to support these efforts . TahyaMisr Fund owns a financial capacity that allows it to help state agencies and civil society organizations in partnership with the private sector, in facing any crises experienced by the Egyptian state and its various institutions.
