A truck loaded with gas oil exploded on Wednesday morning at a gas station in Saft al-Laban, Giza, a security source said. The explosion damaged the entire gas station and led to the injury of two workers. Two different accounts were given of the incident. According to the first, a worker lit a cigarette while the truck was emptying its load of gas oil, setting off the explosion. The second account blames the blast on a short circuit. Ten fire engines rushed to the scene and put out the fire before it could spread to nearby homes. Translated from the Arabic Edition
