Five thousand protesters in Qasr al-Aini Street in Downtown Cairo stormed the district, demanding the fall of the regime. They were immediately joined by protesters who had just finished prayers at the nearby Sayeda Zeinab Mosque. Police fired tear gas, but protesters insisted they won't go until their demands are met. They told reporters that they won't be satisfied with a cabinet reshuffle. They insisted that the country should be ruled by a democratic regime that can answer the demands of people.
