The Administrative Court will consider on Tuesday the lawsuit of Roqaya Sadat, the daughter of late President Sadat, against Minister of Manpower Aisha Abdel Hady for issuing work permits for three Iranian make-up artists that have worked in the film ‘Execution of the Pharaoh' on the assassination of Sadat, to work in the ‘Nasser' TV series on the biography of late President Nasser. She told Al-Masry Al-Youm: “The second part of the film showed the body of President Sadat in a crude way, thanks to the make-up, which is a severe insult for any Egyptian.”
Her lawyer Dr. Samir Sabri said the minister knew that the three artists worked in the Iranian film, as Egyptian make-up artist Mohamed Ashoub wrote her a memo in this regard, but she refused to cancel the permit. Head of the Filmmakers Syndicate Mamdouh Al-Laithi referred Ashoub to a disciplinary board on charges that he has ignored him. He asked him to give up the lawsuit, but Ashoub refused.
