The prosecutors will today hear the testimonies of the owners of the shops that were damaged when the Ghad Party headquarters were burned. They will also hear the testimonies of the owners of the cars that were damaged by the fire. The prosecutors faced Ghad Party President Moussa Mustafa Moussa with what four newspapers have reported about the fire.
Moussa denied any relation with the thugs that appeared next to him in some photos printed in those newspapers, contending that the photos are not evidence against him. He said the diskette of Gamila Ismail (Nour's wife) is evidence against her.
His lawyer, Samir Abdel Azim, said that MP Ragab Hemeida will request to lift his parliamentary immunity so that he would give his testimony, pointing out that Hemeida has accusations for Gamila Ismail that he would reveal only to the prosecutors.
The prosecutors postponed hearing the testimony of Walid Riyad of the Ghad Party, who told al-Masry al-Youm that he was close to the scene and that he will tell the prosecutors the cause of the fire. Gamila Ismail said Moussa will not be able to come up with anything new because she and the Nour Front did not throw fireballs from above. She said that she has three diskettes and 17 pictures that prove Riyad's involvement in all phases of the arson.
