Cairo security bodies submitted to Central Cairo Prosecutor 25 papers of secret investigations into the fire which broke out at the Ghad (tomorrow) Party headquarter. According to the investigations, supporters of Ayman Nour, the former head of the party, and Moussa Mostafa Moussa, the incumbent chairman, pelted each others with Molotovs and, accordingly, fire broke out in the party. Several eyewitnesses said Moussa's supporters pelted Nour's with bricks and tried to break into the party's headquarter by burning its door. After that, Nour's supporters pelted them with Molotovs. The investigations have so far not been able to find the perpetrator. For his part, Nour's lawyer Amir Salim said he would submit documents, photos and video clips proving that Moussa, MP Ragab Hilal Hemaida and their supporters were involved in the fire. He added that he would call for immunity to be lifted from Hemaida so that he and Moussa would be referred to the prosecutor on charges of burning the party. Salim added that he would submit some photos proving that Hemaida joined Moussa's bloc since the start of the march till he tried to break the door and burn the headquarter. Salim intends to file a complaint to Public Prosecutor Abdul Maguid Mahmoud after Nour's supporters were turned from victims into defendants. He added that he would call for hearing the depositions of some journalists who were at the scene of the accident. For their part, Moussa's supporters denied all accusations and confirmed that the fire broke out from inside the party where Nour's supporters were holding a meeting, which means that Nour's supporters are behind the fire.
