Gameela Ismail, wife of Ghad Party's former president Ayman Nour, submitted a CD to Central Cairo Prosecutor with images and video footage showing that the fire broke out at the party headquarter when supporters of the party's president Moussa Moustafa Moussa launched Molotovs and fireballs. The attorney general of Central Cairo Prosecution Mohamed Hilmi Qandeel decided to include the CD in the investigation file. The CD shows the confrontation between her and Moussa's supporters as well as a man in his thirties launching fireballs through a slingshot. The investigations revealed that this man was one of Moussa's supporters and that the fireballs set fire on the curtains inside the headquarter. The prosecution also asked Cairo Investigation Bureau to identify five or six people who joined Moussa's supporters to set the place on fire. The investigations also revealed that two of those people were jailbirds. The prosecutor is expected to summon them over the next few days to hear their testimonies. The prosecution heard the testimony of Moussa Moustafa Moussa for six hours. He denied inciting his supporters to set fire on the headquarter and accused Mrs. Gameela of orchestrating the fire and fabricating the CD. He then added he did not know those who appear on the CD and said they were likely to be normal people who intervened to rescue those who were in the party headquarter. He then added he is the legitimate president of the party and that the leasing contract of the headquarter expired three months ago because Mrs. Gameela had not paid the rent. As he was exhausted, she asked for the investigation session to be postponed. The prosecution eventually decided to complete the interrogation on Monday.
