MP: Abdel Rehim was targeted for documenting Muslim Brotherhood crimes

Cairo - MP Sameh Habib denounced the assassination attempt of MP Dr. Abdel Rehim Ali and Chairman and Editor in Chief of Al Bawaba News during his visit to Alexandria.
In a special statement to Al Bawaba parliamentary news, Habib stated that, "We are all under the threat of terrorist acts at any time and the assassination attempt on Dr. Ali will not be the last act attempted by the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood organization." He added that Dr. Ali has done extensive and in-depth studies to document the crimes of the Muslim Brotherhood against the state and the Egyptian people, thus exposing their true nature to the world. He speculated that the assassination attempt is their way of revenging for being exposed.
