200 Egyptian MPs to pay respect visit to Azhar imam Tuesday

Cairo - About 200 members of the Egyptian Parliament are set to visit Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed el-Tayyeb on Tuesday to express parliament's respect for Egypt's prestigious religious institution.
The visit is also meant to show respect for Dr. Tayyeb, said MP Ahmed Helmy el-Sherif on Saturday 06/05/2017.
The House of Representatives does appreciate the pivotal and leading role played by Al-Azhar regarding all Islamic affairs inside and outside Egypt, Sherif said.
