Cairo - Under the auspices of Grand Imam of Al Azhar Dr Ahmed El Tayyeb, a dialogue among representatives of the different parties of the conflict in Myanmar's Rakhine state will kick off on Tuesday. This will be the first round of dialogue to achieve peace in the southeastern Asian country, a statement by Al Azhar said . The dialogue is part of a role played by the Muslim Council of Elders to promote peace and co-existence in the world, the statement noted.
Participants in the dialogue will discuss means of reaching a solution to the conflict in Myanmar that is based on the concept of citizenship, added the statement.
