Grand imam of Al-Azhar, Sheikh Ahmed Al Tayeb, will visit Abu Dhabi on Wednesday to chair the third session of the Muslim Elders' Council. The council is an independent global Islamic entity that aims to boost peace in the Arab and Muslim world; as it seeks to reduce violence through reconciliation between conflicting parties in Muslim societies. Al-Tayeb is the elected president of the council which consists of 40 top scholars and experts from different Muslim countries.
