Cairo, alBawaba - Slovenian President "Borut Pahor" said that he appreciates Egypt's role in resolving Middle East crisis. Pahor added, during a joint press conference with Egyptian President Abdul Fattah el-Sisi at al-Etihadyia Presidential Palace: "We discussed ways to increase bilateral relationships, as well as regional and international issues. It was agreed to do our utmost to engage the European Union in solving regional problems." President Borut Pahor began an official two-day visit to Egypt on Monday as the first Slovenian president to visit the country. He came to Egypt from Jordan, which he visited at the weekend. Pahor is the President of Slovenia since December 2012. He was Prime Minister of Slovenia from November 2008 to February 2012.
