Dispute erupts among MB allies in Egypt
Published in Albawaba on 03 - 12 - 2016

Cairo - As a result of the failure suffered by Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist group during the past few days, dispute erupted among MB allied groups and individuals. Some of them threatened to publish sensitive documents and scandals about each other.
Leading member of the so-called Egyptian Revolutionary Council (ERC) Ayat Oraby criticized several MB allied leaders, most noticeably chairman of the board members of MB-loyal Elsharq TV channel 'Ayman Nour', whom she accused on her official Facebook account, of having links to former Knesset member 'Azmi Bishara'.
Oraby said: "One must be an idiot to trust former Knesset member and reconcile with the occupation forces, as well as calling for coexistence with them,"
Now, Bishara is the General Director of the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and a member of its executive board.
She accused Nour of receiving funds from third parties, saying: "Ayman Nour was a friend to the US administration under George W. Bush and former United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, whom he used to send letters from his prison cell,"
"Nour owns Elsharq TV channel, which spends more than $300 thousand monthly and no one knows where he came out with that kind of money," she added.
She also accused Nour of loyalty to former President 'Hosni Mubarak' and of aiding him in order to get re-elected and remain the president.
Nour ran for President in 2005 and left Egypt in 2013 after toppling Mohamed Mursi.
In June, she commented on the news that circulated about the appointment of Nour by ousted President Mohamed Morsi as Prime Minister, saying: "Maybe he should have waited for the appointment of Rice again to send her a new letters or wait until Hillary Clinton was elected US President, and abandon Morsi's camp."
Such accusations has led MB allies, who were funding him to stop sending him funds, as a result he started his preparations to file a lawsuit against Oraby before a US court, according to sources who spoke to Al-Bawaba News Portal on condition of anonymity.
The sources said that he is currently attempting to clear his name in order to persuade MB allies to fund him again, adding that will work on making about on a documentary film about Oraby with the aim of uncovering her long history of scandals and air it through Elsharq TV channel, in an attempt to expose her in front of MB allies and supporters of Morsi.
