Cairo Customs thwarts smuggling clock allegedly used for espionage

The Central Administration of Cairo Customs thwarted Wednesday smuggling a sophisticated wall clock with built-in cameras used for espionage purposes hidden in a parcel coming from Holland, Al-Bawaba News reported.
The high-tech clock contains a SIM card which enables remote communication and control the camera.
The Egyptian law bans obtaining any equipment could be used for intelligence purposes, and their owners would face charges of espionage.
