Egypt's Parliament speaker, Ali Abdel Aal met Tuesday in Cairo with a German delegation that include Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs State Secretary, Franz Josef Pschierer as well as a number of German parliamentarians and businessmen, Youm7 News reported. During the meeting, Abdel Aal said that Egypt and Germany are two big countries, pointing out that Egypt is fighting terrorism in all its forms not only through pre-emptive strikes, but also through the renewal of religious and cultural discourses. He added that the Egyptian parliament aims to develop legislation to facilitate investment in the country, stressing that Egypt is relying on German investors due to their experience in investment sector. For his part, Pschierer stressed that the term terrorism has become the term that means targeting innocent people, adding that the world must work together to fight it. He pointed out that Germany will provide full support to Egypt in investment fields, especially after the stability and security witnessed in Egypt under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
