US Dollar registers EGP 9.95 in black market

The US Dollar exchange rate on Monday registered EGP 9.95 in the black market while remained stable at 8.85 for sale and 8.87 for buying at official banks, banking sources said.
The sources added the US Dollar has nearly disappeared in the domestic market amid expectations its value per the Egyptian pound will rise in the near future.
The central Bank of Egypt has recently taken a package of measures to stop the US dollar's galloping in the domestic market.
