US dollar registers EGP 9.80 in black market

The US Dollar remained steady against the Egyptian pound in the black market on Sunday registering EGP 9.86 for buying, and EGP 9.80 for selling, at the time when the official market registered EGP 8.85, and EGP 9.87 for selling, Youm7 News reported.
A number of black market traders said that the recent actions taken by Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) on cancelling the maximum deposit limits have helped customers and companies in their deposit and withdrawal operations.
