Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ahmed Al-Tayeb is preparing to visit Paris in April to hold dialogue with Western intellectuals on true principles and teachings of Islam, as well as its tolerance, Youm7 News reported Friday.
Al-Tayeb is expected to hold a number of meetings and consultations with several intellectuals and scholars, in order to dismantle the phenomenon of Islamophobia in the West and create an understanding between East and West on the true nature of Islam.
