Israeli troops Wednesday hurled smoke bombs across the barbed wire border fence into Lebanon, a security source told The Daily Star. The Israeli soldiers tossed five smoke bombs at the southern village of Kfar Kila near the border fence with Israel. The source said that it's not clear if the troops fired the bombs due to suspicious movement in the area or to drive away shepherds. Another source in the area told The Daily Star that the situation is calm; adding that the cross-border attack was sudden.
