Prime Minister, Sherif Ismail inspected Tuesday the industrial zone in 10th of Ramadan City, Al Bawaba News reported. Ismail was accompanied by Minister of Industry Tarek Kabeel, while inspecting a number of factories in the city. The prime minister explained that his visit comes in light of the government's efforts to develop the industrial sector in an attempt to achieve economic growth, increase investment and provide job opportunities for young people. He pointed out that developing the industrial sector comes as a top priority in the governmental program, scheduled to be discussed in the parliament soon. Furthermore, he stressed on the keenness of the government to take all necessary measures to protect national industry from unfair competition with both, imported and smuggled low-quality products.
