Minister of commerce, Tarek Kabeel announced Tuesday that Italian minister of economic development, Federica Guidi will head a delegation of 30 representatives of Italian companies, in a visit to Egypt in early February. This came during a press conference held at the ministry's headquarters by Kabeel, after meeting with the Italian ambassador in Cairo, to discuss boosting economic relations between both countries, Al Bawaba News reported. Kabeel pointed out that the delegation of Italian companies, include companies operating in various fields, such as furniture, energy, transportation, electricity and construction. He stressed that the aim of the visit is to review the investment opportunities in Egypt during the next phase. Also, he explained that the visit also comes in preparation for the Egyptian-Italian summit, which will witness a meeting between President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi and Italian Prime Minister, Matteo Renzi, in order to strengthen bilateral relations, especially the economic relations.
