Italian mission to visit Egypt next February to seek available investments

An Italian mission encompassing 30 firms is set to visit Egypt in February to discuss available investment opportunities in a number of fields notably power, transport, construction, and furniture.
Egyptian trade minister Tarek Qabil stated Tuesday that the Italian delegation will be headed by minister of economic development.
Qabil said that there are a number of opportunities available for the Italian companies to invest in Egypt within the upcoming period notably in leather, furniture, automotive feeding industries fields in addition to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) sector.
During his meeting with Maurizio Massari -Italian ambassador to Cairo-, Qabil clarified that delegation's visit comes among the preparations for the Egyptian-Italian summit which is set to be held in 2016.
The Egyptian-Italian summit is set to be headed by Egyptian president Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi to emphasise that both political leaderships aim to enhance bilateral relations notably the economic ones.
Qabil and Massari have discussed fields of joint cooperation notably Al-Robeky Leather Zone whose first and second phases are currently being finished in order to present the third one for the Italian investors.
